Netflix came under fire after releasing the first look at the upcoming live action remake of Scooby-Doo, with fans holding nothing back when it came to criticizing Scooby’s casting. The 21-second clip shared to X showed Scooby as a puppy sniffing out a suspect in the woods, before being scooped up by Shaggy Rogers (Tanner Hagen). While the dog depicted was undoubtedly adorable, fans of the show refuse to accept him the beloved pup, previously depicted as an animated Great Dane. Netflix’s first look at the series comes nearly three months after the cast was announced. Alongside Hagen, Mckenna Grace is set to appear as Daphne Blake, Maxwell Jenkins as Fred Jones and Abby Ryder Fortson as Velma Dinkley.
