Rebecca Ferguson offered some rare commentary about the moment she became a mom at 23, welcoming son Isac with her then-boyfriend Ludwig Hallberg, a holistic therapist. Though Ludwig was 22 years older than her, the actress said the age difference didn’t feel as significant due to how much life she had lived by then. “I was very young, but I started working at 15,” she explained to Harper’s Bazaar in an interview published Feb. 4. “I was thrown into the deep end of work, maturity and responsibility.” The 42-year-old added, “I needed to earn my own money. I don’t want people to care for me. I don’t want someone to cover for me. You just make it work.” Though Rebecca, who’s also mom to daughter Saga with husband Rory St. Clair Gainer, prefers to keep her personal life private, she has previously shared details about what it’s like being a working mom in Hollywood—including bringing her kids to set. She told the Belfast Telegraph in 2017, "[My son] comes to the set, I go off and leave him with the stunt guys and I come in and he’s hanging off a harness somewhere.
