Former US Ambassador to Ukraine William Taylor said Russian President Vladimir Putin is dragging out negotiations, hoping that Ukraine will get worn down by the grind of the war and that the US will lose interest. Taylor said despite Russia’s intentions to prolong the war, Ukraine or its European allies are unlikely to give up.
