Authorities are sharing an update on key evidence in the Nancy Guthrie case. As the search for the elderly mother of ‘Today Show’ cohost Savannah Guthrie continues, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department is giving new information about potential crime scene evidence. They confirmed "several gloves" have been found during the investigation, but clarified they were not located on Nancy’s property in Tucson, Ariz., where a masked man was seen on surveillance footage on Feb. 1. "The closest gloves were found approximately two miles from the home," read the sheriff’s press release, per MS NOW. "Reports that a glove was found inside the residence or on the property are inaccurate. All collected evidence has been submitted for laboratory analysis.” The statement also noted that, in addition to gloves being found near the 84-year-old’s residence, police have collected unidentified DNA evidence from her home. "DNA other than Nancy Guthrie’s and those in close contact to her has been collected from the property," the release continued. "Investigators are working to identify who it belongs to.
