Michael B. Jordan Details Needing Therapy After ‘Black Panther’ | E! News

Michael B. Jordan reflected on his decision to go to therapy after portraying villain Erik Killmonger in 2018’s Black Panther. He told CBS Morning in an interview published Jan.4, “[I] went to therapy and talked about it, found a way to kind of just decompress.” Because to prepare for the role, the ‘Sinners’ alum admitted he used method acting, which meant spending a lot of time "isolated" from his family to capture Killmonger’s personality. He further explained, “Erik didn’t really know a lot of love.
