Man wins Picasso portray in €100 raffle | DW News

Parisian Software engineer, Ari Hodara, bought his winning ticket over the weekend after finding out about the charity raffle by chance. Organizers said all 120,000 tickets were sold worldwide, netting 12 million euros (14 million USD). Of that, a million will be paid to the Open Gallery, an art dealership that owned the painting. The rest goes to the Alzheimer Research Foundation in Paris.
