Sick of It All frontman Lou Koller has died following a two-year battle with esophageal cancer, his bandmates confirmed. He was 59. “It’s with unbelievable sadness that we announce to our worldwide hardcore family the passing of our brother Lou Koller,” the band—including Koller’s brother Pete Koller, Armand Majidi and Craig Setari—wrote on Instagram July 24. “The level of loss that we feel at this time is overwhelming.” Koller shared in June 2024 that doctors found a cancerous tumor in his esophagus that extended into his stomach. Though Koller announced in May 2025 that he was cancer-free following a final round of chemotherapy, the disease returned months later.
