Lindsey Vonn returned to social media one day after her crash at the 2026 Olympics, sharing that she sustained a complex tibia fracture that will require multiple surgeries. The skier, who suffered an ACL tear one week before the Milano Cortina Winter Games, also wrote on Instagram Feb. 9 that her past injury "had nothing to do" with her crash. Regardless, she said she is happy to have competed, adding, “I hope if you take away anything from my journey it’s that you all have the courage to dare greatly. Life is too short not to take chances on yourself.
