Kate Cassidy is still holding onto her midnight memories. Nearly two years after the death of her boyfriend Liam Payne, the influencer clarified the reason she is removing a collection of tattoos from her hand, some of which were tributes to the late One Direction member. “The only reason that I am lasering off these tattoos is literally just because they are too thick for my liking,” Cassidy said in a July 29 TikTok before noting that the tattoos in question were the first ones she ever received and that she got them done “somewhere really random.” The social media star ultimately decided that the final product did not match her original vision, leading to her decision to have them removed. Cassidy reiterated that her tattoos are meaningful to her and that she is planning on getting her ink redone at a later date. Cassidy and Payne began dating in 2022. The couple was vacationing in Argentina before Payne died after falling from his hotel balcony in October 2024.
