Kanye West—who has shared many antisemitic messages over the years—penned a letter in which he revealed he suffered an undiagnosed brain injury that contributed to his mental health struggles. In a letter published in The Wall Street Journal Jan. 26, the rapper shared that a 2002 car accident left him with unnoticed frontal lobe damage that inevitably led to his “bipolar type-1 diagnosis.” West—who shares four kids with ex-wife Kim Kardashian—added that due to the side effects of the diagnosis, he “lost touch with reality” and “said and did things” he regrets. He continued, “I gravitated toward the most destructive symbol I could find, the swastika, and even sold t-shirts bearing it.” In the end, West is “deeply mortified” by his action and is committed to change. He noted, “It does not excuse what I did though. I am not a Nazi or an Antisemite. I love Jewish people.” Full Story: https://www.eonline.com/news/1427722/kanye-west-details-bipolar-disorder-4-month-manic-episode
