Hilary Duff is continuing to pull back the curtain on her estrangement from Haylie Duff. After releasing her new album, ‘luck…or something,’ on Feb. 20, the singer opened up about the song “We Don’t Talk,” confirming that it is about her fractured relationship with Haylie as many fans speculated. "It’s definitely about my sister,” Hilary said while growing emotional during an interview with ‘CBS Mornings’ on Feb. 20. “And just absolutely the most lonely part of my existence is not having my sister in my life at the moment.” Hilary and Haylie have not been pictured together since 2019 and their interactions on social media have also noticeably waned in recent years. Speculation that the sisters were in a feud only grew in January when Haylie liked fellow Disney alum Ashley Tisdale’s essay for The Cut, detailing her breakup from a “toxic mom group” that Hilary was allegedly a part of. Following the bombshell essay, Haylie and Ashley were seen grabbing dinner in Malibu, Calif., together.
