CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Vice President Kamala Harris on Wednesday declined to answer if she is more “pro-Israel” than former President Donald Trump.
Ms. Harris immediately refocused the issue by responding with anti-Trump rhetoric without answering the question.
“I believe that Donald Trump is dangerous,” she responded during a CNN town hall when asked point blank if she’s more “pro-Israel” than Mr. Trump.
“I believe when you have a president of the United States who said to his generals who work for him because he is commander in chief — these conversations, I assume many of them took place in the Oval Office — and the President of the United States, the commander in chief is saying to his generals, in essence, why can’t you be more like Hitler’s generals? C’mon,” Ms. Harris said.
“This is a serious, serious issue,” she continued.
Ms. Harris was referring to an interview in The Atlantic this week in which Mr. Trump’s former chief of staff John Kelly alleged the former president said he wanted the military to be like “Hitler’s generals” in terms of loyalty.
