Haiti: Gangs threaten civil battle if PM Henry fails to resign | DW News

The UN Security Council held an emergency assembly on Wednesday to handle spiraling violence in Haiti. The nation has seen an explosion of violence in current days as highly effective gang leaders launch assaults in an effort to oust prime minister Ariel Henry. Henry’s critics say that he has not caught to his promise to resign in February, as an alternative forming an alliance with the opposition till new elections might be held.
