German funding for projects abroad is falling. So is public support. In Argentina, young musicians show what that money can achieve. Nearly 8 in 10 Germans say they are proud of supporting poorer countries. But only around 2 in 10 say they understand what German development aid is actually trying to achieve. Is the problem the spending, or how Germany explains its purpose?
