President Donald Trump confirmed that he will not be attending his son Donald Trump Jr.’s wedding to Bettina Anderson over Memorial Day weekend. In a May 22 Truth Social post, Donald explained that “circumstances pertaining to Government” and his decision to remain in Washington, D.C. kept him from attending the family celebration. Donald wrote that while he wanted to be there for Don Jr. and Bettina’s big day, he felt it was important to stay at the White House during what he described as an important time. This marks Bettina’s first marriage and Don Jr.’s second. The businessman shares five children with his ex-wife, Vanessa Trump.
