On Monday, TMZ published multiple photos that showed the South Carolina Republican spending his weekend at the happiest place on earth — while many Americans are extremely unhappy with the state of the county. That’s thanks to surging prices amid a war with Iran that’s so confusing, even Fox News’ Laura Ingraham and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones are questioning whether President Donald Trump knows what he’s doing.

On Tuesday’s episode of “The Daily Show,” Lydic kicked off her criticism of Graham’s taxpayer-funded trip to Disney by pointing out that the senator has been wanting to go to war with Iran for a “long time.”
After airing several clips shot between 2006 and 2025 of Graham expressing his desire for the U.S. to invade the Middle Eastern country, Lydic continued:

“If you’re angry that Lindsey Graham is at the Magic Kingdom while the country is in a war he pushed for, don’t worry, he has an almost plausible explanation.”
Graham told TMZ that his visit to Florida was mostly professional.
“I was invited to a meeting in South Florida on Friday with Trump official Steve Witkoff … to talk about the possibility of normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel,” Graham said. “I went to Orlando to meet friends after. I’m already back in South Carolina.”
“The Daily Show” also aired a few clips of media outlets covering Graham’s Disney visit, with one person saying in an NBC clip that Graham “just decided to swing by” one of the busiest and most popular theme parks in the world.

“Just decided to swing by Disney World?” an incredulous Lydic asked. “No. It’s impossible to swing by Disney World.”
She then imagined the theoretical scenario of someone casually popping by the huge park.
“‘Oh, babe, I’m just going to swing by Disney World. Want me to pick you up a $30 turkey leg? I’ll be back in three days,’” Lydic joked, before absolutely scorching the Republican senator’s supposedly impromptu trip.
“Going to Disney without a serious plan would be like, I don’t know, attacking Iran without a serious plan,” she quipped.

“Spent some time breaking clays in Edgefield County today. Doesn’t get much better than that,” he captioned that photo.

Lydic wasn’t sold on Graham’s overly compensating for his silly Disney photos, which included one of him carrying a bubble wand.
“Oh, honey. No one’s buying that,” Lydic said to the pic of Graham posing with his big-boy firearm.
“You can tell he’s not happy out there in the woods. He wants to be where the people are, he wants to see, wants to see them dancing,” Lydic said, reciting the lyrics of the song “Part of Your World” from Disney’s “The Little Mermaid.”
