Colosseum’s ‘Commodus Passage’ becomes accessible thanks to EU funds
The passage, constructed somewhere between 90 AD and 98 AD, allowed emperor’s to get to their seats without having to use the main entrances, the vomitoria, through which the masses would spew forth into the Colosseum.
