Burnley cruelly denied an equaliser in the eighth minute of stoppage time. The Clarets had come from 3-0 down to make it 3-3 in the second half. They then thought they had taken the lead but were denied by VAR for an offside, before Brentford retook the lead in stoppage time from Damsgaard. but the drama wasn’t done as Barnes looked to have grabbed a leveller but VAR once again denied Burnley.
