Eugene Mirman is recovering from a near-death experience. The ‘Bob’s Burgers’ star, who’s voiced Eugene Belcher in over 300 episodes of the beloved animated series, was hospitalized after being pulled from the fiery wreckage of a New Hampshire car crash on March 31. “Eugene was in a very scary car accident," Mirman’s rep told Variety in an April 1 statement. "He wants to thank the bystanders, state police, first responders and hospital staff who saved him. He is grateful to be on the mend." The spokesperson added, "At this time, we kindly ask for privacy for Eugene and his family as he focuses on recovering from his injuries." The crash occurred around 11:55 a.m., when a 2026 Lucid Gravity driven by Mirman, 51, struck Bedford Toll Plaza, according to a New Hampshire State Police press release. Authorities said 911 callers indicated that the car caught fire and "someone in the vehicle appeared to be trapped."
