The United States has announced it will deliver some 200 Million dollars in humanitarian aid to Sudan, where a civil war has killed tens of thousands of people and triggered the world’s largest displacement crisis.
The 200 Million dollar package is in addition to over 2 Billion dollars the US has sent to Sudan since April 2023, when fighting broke out between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces paramilitary group.
