Alex Cooper isn’t about to let you call her out. Days after the Call Her Daddy podcast host—who is expecting her first baby with husband Matt Kaplan—shared she was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, she clapped back at an internet troll who delivered his unwanted two cents on her pregnancy. After a social media user DM’d Cooper saying, “Don’t complain about being pregnant. Your choice. Pregnancy can be hard,” she took a moment to respond publicly. “‘Pregnancy can be hard,’” she wrote on Instagram Stories Aug. 2 alongside a screenshot of the message, “oh Chris tell me about your pregnancy I would love to hear babe!” And the 31-year-old further emphasized the irony of the comment, writing, “Just wanted to share all the dms I get like this…are from men lol.” Two months after she and Kaplan announced they were expecting their first baby together, Cooper shared she was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, a usually temporary condition that causes high blood sugar, per Mayo Clinic.
