But while the 53-year-old (whose legal name is Aliaune Badara Thiam) has multiple partners, he shared he’s the “only man” in his relationship dynamic, noting his wives aren’t allowed to have other partners. Meanwhile, Akon—whose wife Tomeka Thiam filed for divorce in September after nearly three decades of marriage—explained there is a hierarchy in his relationship and that all of his partners must respect his first wife, though he didn’t specify if he was referring to Tomeka. “That one is the reason you even got one, two or three.
