Venezuela’s opposition leader María Corina Machado has presented her prestigious Nobel Peace Prize to Donald Trump. Machado presented Trump with the medal at a meeting in the White House. On his Truth social platform, Trump called Machado a "wonderful woman" and said ‘María presented me with her Nobel Peace Prize for the work I have done. Such a wonderful gesture of mutual respect." After the meeting, Machado told reporters about her decision to give up the prestigious medallion.
